Brent came on staff here in February 2016. Originally from South Auckland - but loving Southland, Brent was an Accountant before God led him into a Youth Pastor role followed by him being Director of a Social Service organisation in South Auckland.
Brent is married to Neeley and they have 3 kids. Outside of church he loves a good coffee, seeing new places and is a big Liverpool fan.
Megan joined the team in August 2021. She is usually in the office Monday to Wednesday and is responsible for Small Groups and Care Ministries. She is also a Counsellor (NZAC) at a Southland school on the other days.
Megan is married with two adult children. Outside of church she enjoys the outdoors - exploring and finding adventures, and being creative.
You'll usually find me leading the Kids Church team, which I absolutely love! But that's not all—I'm also part of Music & Play and our GBC coffee group, where we get to support and encourage the amazing mums in town in a practical and God-centered way. I'm happily married and have two grown-up kids.
I care about the community and want to make a difference in the lives of our kids and families. It's the little things that matter, and I'm grateful to be part of such a wonderful team
Neeley is from the USA, married to Brent and has three awesome kids. She stepped into the Office Administrator role early 2024.
Neeley has a genuine passion for Jesus and believes the local church is the best way to reach and love our community, Neeley aims to ensure that all church related needs are met promptly and with a smile.
